“We are dealing with veterans, not procedures—with their problems, not ours.” —General Omar Bradley, First Administrator of the Veterans Administration
We who've served and those serving, as well as the families of, don't sacrifice those years of serving, especially when sent to combat theaters, to come home and be used as marketing tools for businesses and especially the corporate mentality, nor as political speak tools of a false ideology of those served symbolic flag waving 'patriotism' and 'politics' of! We serve the whole Country and the protection of the Constitution of, the Rights for All! It's the Responsibility, especially the wealthy that use us as their, poser, patriotic marketing tools, and in recent decades have more then enough ability to give their fair share much of which is made from our wars directly or investment in, to fully fund the Veterans Administration and finally build what was promised from the start, not ignore nor deny the issues from our wars, especially, and service to the Country!!

Noting that he soon will visit Asia, Obama credited America’s enduring commitment and its generations of uniformed service members for continued growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
“We salute that Greatest Generation, who freed a continent from fascism and fought across Pacific Islands to preserve our way of life,” the president said. “We pay tribute to Americans who defended the people of South Korea, soldiered through the brutal battles of Vietnam, stood up to a tyrant in Desert Storm and stopped ethnic cleansing in the Balkans.”

That 'obligation' the President mentions, the only Government branch and it's Cabinet understanding and consistently doing since taking office, doesn't end with our wars! It's in the 'Oath' the Country gives to those who've served it Honorably and return wounded, physically and mentally, and most completely changed by those years of service and sacrifice!!

Sen. Bernie Sanders told Conservatives: “If you can’t afford to take care of your veterans, than don’t go war. These people are bearing the brunt of what war is about, We have a moral obligation to support them.” February, 26th, 2014
Neither of these recent wars have yet been paid for, let alone the results from, including the long ignored or outright denied existence of, till this Administrations Cabinet and Gen Shinseki, only Government branch consistent for the past six years, issues! As well as under deficits most of the, grossly under funded, VA budget is still borrowed thus added, problem creating, costs that shouldn't exist!
Bob Herbert Losing Our Way : "And then the staggering costs of these wars, which are borne by the taxpayers. I mean, one of the things that was insane was that, as we're at war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Bush administration cut taxes. This has never been done in American history. The idea of cutting taxes while you're going to war is just crazy. I mean, it's madness." Bill 'Moyers and Company': Restoring an America That Has Lost its Way 10 Oct. 2014
