At least some 95%, if not more as less then 1% serve them, not only still support the, just below, total lack of Sacrifice, they ran from any and all Accountability and left everything still on the table to be continually used if the political/military want was still in play in future executive/legislative wants!!

Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Veterans in Congress

The (T)'s, purple heart bandages comedians, strong? on national? defense?, after creating and enhancing the hatreds towards us over the last decade, have effectively gotten at least one of their wishes, so they can continue obstructing more needed spending for the Veterans Administration, a big drop in Veterans who are Representatives after already serving the Country!

Veterans in Congress at lowest level since World War II


January 21, 2011 - Members of Congress are quick to say they support the troops and veterans, but the number of elected officials who have served has plummeted to its lowest point since World War II.

Only 20% of the 535 members of the new Congress have served in the military, 25 from the Senate and 90 from the House of Representatives.

Juxtapose that with 1975, when over 70% of those elected had served in the armed forces.

Pre-World War II data on veterans serving is difficult to find, according to the Senate Historical Office.

With the nation currently facing two wars, one group worries about the effects the dwindling numbers may have on defense decisions.

"It's not always that veterans care more about defense issues, but those politicians who have served in the military understand to a much greater degree what they are voting on," said Seth Lynn, executive director of Veterans Campaign, a group that trains veterans to run for public office.

"Having members in Congress with military experience is crucial to effective civilian control of the military," Lynn added. {continued}
