Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Tens of Thousands of Veterans' that have been long ignored and maligned by previous VA's and the whole Country and through their representatives!

Cutting Veteran Benefits??

The Country Already Doesn't Pony Up!! The mindset of the once (R)'s, now looking more and more like these phony (T)'s as to patriotism, as well as conservative (D)'s, and their meme for votes, is cutting taxes. Yet their supporters want everything and more those taxes bring them they just don't want to pony up Especially for their Wars of Choice, except on the Extremely Bloated Defense Budgets, and the others who serve in them {even hawk vets don't want to as many of collect for their disabilities from, use the VA facilities and get retirement packages}. Simpson just spoke the Long Policy of Out Loud!!

Cutting veteran benefits is not the way to cut the deficit (Rep. John Hall D-N.Y.)


09/02/10 - This week Mr. Simpson blamed disabled veterans for adding to our nation's budget deficit. His comments came just days after a Veterans Administration announcement that it is expanding eligibility for disability compensation to veterans suffering from three diseases associated with exposure to Agent Orange, correcting a long running injustice.

This is a change I have long advocated for and strongly applaud. But Mr. Simpson, a veteran and former chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee said, 'The irony (is) that the veterans who saved this country are now, in a way, not helping us to save the country in this fiscal mess.' {read more}

Reason this life long Independent looks extreme hard at Anyone running as a, once, republican and still using that party letter and have these past forty plus years as a voter, veteran and advocate! Look at democrats as well but they usually follow through, except if leaning conservative, on what they say and are an asset in the fight for what are not only promised but should never be questioned as to what our brothers and sisters should be receiving especially those sent into conflicts!
