At least some 95%, if not more as less then 1% serve them, not only still support the, just below, total lack of Sacrifice, they ran from any and all Accountability and left everything still on the table to be continually used if the political/military want was still in play in future executive/legislative wants!!

Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Tens of Thousands of Veterans' that have been long ignored and maligned by previous VA's and the whole Country and through their representatives!

Veterans Affairs Health Care Systems, One in Three Jobs Are Vacant

Conservative, and people served including older vets, decades long ideologies, starve government agencies, the peoples Responsibility especially the VA, to privatization, that's called 'smaller government', to corporate profit and little to no regulation, thus media hyped 'scandals' surface over and over!!

August 20, 2015 - About one in three jobs are vacant at nine of the nation’s regional Veterans Affairs health care systems, leaving veterans waiting weeks to get care.

Nationally, one in six positions — nearly 41,000 — for critical intake workers, doctors, nurses and assistants were unfilled as of mid July, in part due to complex hiring procedures and poor recruitment, according to critics of the nation's network of 139 hospitals and clinics that treat veterans.

The vacancy data obtained by USA TODAY through the Freedom of Information Act offers the first look at how serious staffing issues are at some VA hospitals and clinics. It also shows that at many locations, unfilled jobs are driving up appointment wait times. USA TODAY's analysis found that even a 1% increase in job vacancies contributes to more appointments being pushed past a month-long wait.

Some of the highest vacancy rates are for psychologists. In 13 regional health care systems, 40 to 64% of psychologist positions are vacant. Nationally, about 21% of such positions are vacant.

“It is unacceptable,” said Sen. Jon Tester, D-Montana, a member of the Senate Veterans Affairs committee. “This is a problem under bright sunlight now, and it needs to be fixed.” read more>>>

Meanwhile, and especially with help from the present Executive Administration and it's Cabinet and their crossover charged duties and budgets:

And these are just present day brothers and sisters of the less then one percent of us who serve the 99%plus!!

As well as with same help starting with Sec Shinseki and continuing with Sec McDonald many of the long ignored or outright denied, that link is just on long conservative nemesis and PTS, issues even exist and Veterans fighting for are labeled slackers and worse!
