After long ignoring, oh so many issues, and outright denying issues even exist, think PTS, especially from our Wars, poser patriots, think passing a congressional bill will eliminate the problems 'quick cures just pop a pill society':
Should have added above that once again it will be an 'unfunded' bill, like so so many before gotta have them 'scandals' down the road and oft same repeated over and over, as most of the VA budget is still mostly borrowed, with interest, decades now, reason to ignore and deny issues means no sacrifice themselves, and obstructed!! But boy howdy does it sound and read 'patriotic' to the 99%plus served!!!
And because it's not fully funded, tax cuts for the great majority served especially the wealthy, once again the VA will have to contend with how to fully implement, by the mostly extremely dedicated personal throughout the agency, and when problems develop, and they will, another 'scandal' is born in the conservative want to 'privatize' for corporate profit the entire government, there's multi billions easy money can be had in the treasury coffers, with the agencies still in existence so lawmakers have someone to blame. How many times do you hear or see them attack the already private contractors throughout our government!! And conservative meme's attack the mostly dedicated VA workforce on 'bonuses' some receive for doing the almost impossible in maintain great care for the Veterans seeking same, with the peoples served representatives creating the coming political news 'scandals', while same praise corporate execs way over the top compensations with those huge tax cuts and tax dodges even!!
November 19 2014 - Marine Cpl. Clay Hunt already was a survivor when he deployed to Afghanistan in 2008. An infantryman, he’d been wounded in the wrist by an enemy sniper in Iraq in 2007, just weeks after watching a fellow Marine sustain a mortal gunshot wound to the throat by another enemy marksman.Hunt didn’t let his wounds in Iraq hold him back, though. He recovered, went to sniper school and then deployed with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, a unit from Twentynine Palms, Calif., that quietly deployed to Afghanistan in 2008, before the troop “surge,” and was spread across 10,000 square miles in Helmand and Farah provinces. Sixteen Marines and a Navy corpsman were killed in combat, and scores were wounded. They eventually were reinforced with more troops sent from the United States.
Hunt left the Marine Corps afterward. He struggled with depression, panic attacks and post-traumatic stress but threw himself into veterans advocacy and humanitarian work, even traveling to Haiti in 2009 with other Marine veterans to help after a devastating earthquake. read more>>>
Neither of these recent wars have yet been paid for, let alone the results from, including the long ignored or outright denied existence of, till this Administrations Cabinet and Gen Shinseki, only Government branch consistent for the past six years, issues! As well as under deficits most of the, grossly under funded, VA budget is still borrowed thus added, problem creating, costs that shouldn't exist!
