In 2003 some 72% of Americans fully supported the Abandoning of the Missions and those Sent to Accomplish so extremely Quickly after 9/11!!
At least some 95%, if not more as less then 1% serve them, not only still support the, just below, total lack of Sacrifice, they ran from any and all Accountability and left everything still on the table to be continually used if the political/military want was still in play in future executive/legislative wants!!
DeJa-Vu: “With no shared sacrifices being asked of civilians after Sept. 11", Decades and War From, All Over Again!!
Especially for the Corporate and Wealthy Community, investors in Defense Industries, and for these, Afghanistan and Iraq, came Two Huge Tax Cuts, with more sweetheart deals to same from states and the fed!!

Thousands of people across America don’t just talk about honoring Veterans; they walk the walk. Dedicated Volunteers Serve Veterans for Decades

On this Executive Administration, it's Cabinet and those directly around same, "Best - Ever": "We haven't had this kind of visibility from the White House—ever." Joyce Raezer National Military Family Association - Dec. 30, 2011, and plenty more of similar since Joyce, others, spoke and continues!

Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

President Obama 26 August 2014

Fact: "This is not just a job of government. It’s not just a job of the veterans’ organizations. Every American needs to join us in taking care of those who've taken care of us. Because only 1 percent of Americans may be fighting our wars, but 100 percent of Americans benefit from that 1 percent. A hundred percent need to be supporting our troops. A hundred percent need to be supporting our veterans. A hundred percent need to be supporting our military families."

Fact:
"We’ve been able to accomplish historic increases to veterans funding. We’ve protected veterans health care from Washington politics with advanced appropriations. We’ve been able to make VA benefits available to more than 2 million veterans who didn't have them before, including more Vietnam vets who were exposed to Agent Orange. We’ve dedicated major new resources for mental health care. We’ve helped more than 1 million veterans and their families pursue their education under the Post-9/11 GI Bill."

August 26, 2014 - Secretary Robert A. McDonald's Remarks for the American Legion's 96th Annual Convention, Charlotte, NC
Fact: "Unlike, P&G, VA may not be concerned about quarterly profit and loss statements or shareholder value, but it does have a bottom line—Veterans. "
{which is why No Government agency should be turned into a private corporate entity feeding for profit off the Countries duty and responsibility, especially the VA}

Facts: Matthew Hoh {former Marine and foreign service officer in Afghanistan}: "We spend a trillion dollars a year on national security in this country."
"And when you add up to the Department of Defense, Department of State, CIA, Veterans Affairs, interest on debt, the number that strikes me the most about how much we're committed financially to these wars and to our current policies is we have spent $250 billion already just on interest payments on the debt we've incurred for the Iraq and Afghan wars."

Fact: 25 June 2014 U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller: Veterans' Affairs issue an 'all too similar' scene

Fact: How We Could Do More For Our Vets: "We need to go into debt to pay our debt to U.S. veterans to make sure they get the care and services we owe them."

Fact: “Why in 2009 were we still using paper?” VA Assistant Secretary Tommy Sowers “When we came in, there was no plan to change that; we’ve been operating on a six month wait for over a decade.” 27 March 2013

WHY? GOOD QUESTION THOSE SERVED SHOULD ANSWER!

Bob Herbert Losing Our Way : "And then the staggering costs of these wars, which are borne by the taxpayers. I mean, one of the things that was insane was that, as we're at war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Bush administration cut taxes. This has never been done in American history. The idea of cutting taxes while you're going to war is just crazy. I mean, it's madness." Bill 'Moyers and Company': Restoring an America That Has Lost its Way 10 Oct. 2014

Under two previous Executive administrations and wars from, father and son. With son and conservative congresses leading the extremely quick abandoning of the missions and those sent to accomplish after 9/11:

ProPublica and The Seattle Times Nov. 9, 2012 - Lost to History: Missing War Records Complicate Benefit Claims by Iraq, Afghanistan Veterans
"DeLara's case is part of a much larger problem that has plagued the U.S. military since the 1990 Gulf War: a failure to create and maintain the types of field records that have documented American conflicts since the Revolutionary War."

Army Says War Records Gap Is Real, Launches Recovery Effort

3/27/15 - U.S. Nerve Gas Hit Our Own Troops in Iraq
"During and immediately after the first Gulf War, more than 200,000 of 700,000 U.S. troops sent to Iraq and Kuwait in January 1991 were exposed to nerve gas and other chemical agents. Though aware of this, the Department of Defense and CIA launched a campaign of lies and concocted a cover-up that continues today."
"When Brown and others tried to obtain their medical records to prove their illnesses were service-related, they learned that the records had disappeared."

Add in the issues of finally recognizing in War Theater and more Veterans, by the Shinseki Veterans Administration and the Executive Administrations Cabinet, what the Country choose to ignore from our previous decades and wars of: The devastating effects on Test Vets and from PTS, Agent Orange, Homelessness, more recent the Desert Storm troops Gulf War Illnesses, Gulf War Exposures with the very recent affects from In-Theater Burn Pits and oh so so much more! Tens of Thousands of Veterans' that have been long ignored and maligned by previous VA's and the whole Country and through their representatives!

To Those 99% Served, 'Build the Veterans Administration Promised!!'

Gen. Shinseki, with a target on him after speaking Military Truth and the bushco firing him and political ideology/greed within the agency helping those in power targeting him, with help from this Executive Branch and it's Cabinet, like the Department of Labor - Veterans, The Department of Housing and Urban Development - Veterans and the Department of Justice - Veterans Courts and Related to name but only a few Veterans issues with Executive Branches Cabinet help, was finally addressing decades long ignored issues with some even denied they exist. Long Ignored by those served, other VA Secretaries and Executive Administrations, especially Conservative, and Especially Congresses who Represent the People Served, or are supposed to, and control the Nations purse strings, not for corporations. Across the VA and all issues of the us Veterans and especially from our Wars and long Occupations of others, not just Care Issues!
Already started but an agency can do only so much and at the pace the people served allow with what the agency is budgeted, still grossly under funded with two more long wars and the budget mostly borrowed with interest payments to cause problems thus feeding the conservative want to privatize for corporate profit off the peoples treasury, and country served willing to pay for:

"He would update the VA software program for scheduling called VISTA, a program first used in 1985.

Nabors also calls for the VA to hire more doctors and nurses, and build more physical space that will be needed for veterans in the future."

What the VA Needs is Those Served Actually Sacrifice, Not Poser Patriotism from Congress and those, 99%, People Served!!

Build the Veterans Administration Promised from the beginning with Real Patriotism not the decades of, cheap, empty rhetoric and Unfunded Congressional Legislation, putting their names too for that patriotic feel and praise, just like the unfunded flag waving patriotic wars with two tax cuts and no offsets mentioned, still unpaid for, used only to attack the VA personal for not rapidly addressing what was passed, Poser Patriotism!!

"We are dealing with veterans, not procedures—with their problems, not ours.” —General Omar Bradley, First Administrator of the Veterans Administration

Investigation finds "corrosive culture" at VA

“Why in 2009 were we still using paper?” VA Assistant Secretary Tommy Sowers “When we came in, there was no plan to change that; we’ve been operating on a six month wait for over a decade.” 27 March 2013

June 27, 2014 - The results of the White House investigation of VA health care were released late Friday evening, and they paint a bleak picture.

The review says VA leadership is not prepared to deliver effective day-to-day management and is marked by an inherent lack of responsiveness.

The president ordered the investigation after reports that some VA managers lied about how long veterans waited for health care, hiding the fact that many couldn't get appointments for months.

President Obama sent his deputy White House chief of staff Rob Nabors to be his eyes and ears at the VA, and his report combines scathing criticism with ideas on moving the VA forward. read more>>>

"If military action is worth our troops’ blood, it should be worth our treasure, too" "not just in the abstract, but in the form of a specific ante by every American." -Andrew Rosenthal 10 Feb. 2013

Just the recent history, people, 99%, served representatives, that continues following the previous decades and wars from:

February 27 2014 - Senate rejects far-reaching Veterans Affairs bill

To which directly after the vote they get this reply as to their Poser Patriotism honesty:

Sen. Bernie Sanders told Conservatives: “If you can’t afford to take care of your veterans, than don’t go war. These people are bearing the brunt of what war is about, We have a moral obligation to support them.” February, 26th, 2014

Then only a few months later they vote once again, after forced changes on same bill, and pass it, but:

June 13 2014 - VFW attacks the three Republicans who voted against Senate VA bill

To which follows the usual rhetoric from the obvious group of law makers, decades in doing same, as they seek to privatize for corporate profit off the peoples treasury. As still a government agency they would then have the ability to legislate added fee's and more along with finally raising the budgets for. Only two ways for them to boost those corporate bottom lines, continue placing the budgets on the credit cards or raise the countries taxes, except their wealthy friends, higher. The long conservative ideology, already in play, in the peoples corporate government.

Jun 22, 2014 - GOP: "It costs too much to fund the VA"

June 24, 2014 - Conservatives, the People Represented, Blasting Costs of Veterans Care - Again

And this is only a small part of what happens as problems develop from the ever present Congressional obstruction and then are compounded:

VA doctors only see ten patients a day, don't have the facilties or staff to handle more
June 25, 2014 - One of the reasons the case load for VA doctors is so low is that patients in VA medical facilities are older and their complex medical conditions require longer appointments, Lynch said. And some facilities don't have the proper number of exam rooms or staff to handle more patients.

VA Testimony Highlights Outdated Facilities
06.24.2014 - In testimony before Congress, Veterans Affairs leaders said that VA facilities are often outdated and ill equipped to handle modern trends in outpatient treatment.

The Other Side, Reality, of the so called VA 'scandal'
Surge in patients outpaces fayetteville's VA health care's building boom

June 29, 2014 - The Fayetteville VA Medical Center has been playing catchup for years.

And what did the Shinseki Veterans Administration, Finally, and with the help of this entire Executive Administration, start addressing, while addressing the issues of the present Veterans of two long wars some issues already being ignored, that was ignored by those served and the representatives they hire as law makers:

Those using us Veterans as political pawns should really really follow the issues before commenting, especially so called journalist, like by actually visiting the Veterans Administration site. Even the archived information of years past, on issues, and the Veterans of and Wars from, especially. Plenty of issues covered, and fought for help by Veterans, even some denied existed with those denying making good livings from and used for the politics the country wanted so they need not fund. It seems the easier it gets to actually research issues the less research goes into reporting or spinning same, all for political purposes oh and that oh so patriotism so many think they have so much of just by speaking the words or using the cheap symbols of, usually produced by cheap labor oversea's!

Just some of what this present VA was addressing, long ignored, Finally: Gulf War Veterans' Illnesses

This article just below addresses 'Gulf War Syndrome': Jun 25, 2014 - Veterans' Affairs issue an 'all too similar' scene

Or how about Burn Pits Exposures, an issue already being ignored by those served and those hired to represent along with many others from these recent war theaters.

Or how about Radiation Exposures, covering decades of the previous service and wars from to the present war theaters and R&D over the many years.

Then of course we go back further, then the Desert Storm ignored issues, to the Vietnam conflict and Agent Orange Exposures which now covers the use of on Military bases around the world and transport of affecting Military personal, still being added to as Veterans fight for what the Country promised but refuses Sacrifice in fulfilling those promises, not even based In Country Vietnam. Even being addressed by this Administration in Vietnam in cleaning up the known area's where used or stored, not enough and compensation to the Vietnamese especially from the chemical companies still being fought for.

You can find much more at the VA Health Care - Public Health site with plenty of links to delve further into what has been finally happening.

Many issues have been lightly touched over the years, some even moving forward at a sloths pace, some even with legislation usually with no added funding for but used to attack VA personal at hearings because enough wasn't done. With Congress throwing a few million here and there for studies on, knowing full well they'll get the results they want, they and the country served want! But the present VA, under Shinseki and now hopefully continuing after Conservatives got what they wanted, him gone, wasn't having anything to do with that, even in getting obstructed in the much needed funding for, and they had an Executive Branch fully behind them!

Blood Boils Again and Again as I watch the media and the American public served, having almost totally ignored the deaths of tens of thousands of Veterans from the previous decades and war issues of, fixate, Poser Patriotism, on recent deaths and the Politics of!!

They targeted Gen Shinseki after he spoke Military truth and the bush co fired him, with cheers from those war supporters, giving the VA virtually no help, they finally accomplished what they sought, getting rid of him and disgracing what he was accomplishing, along with the continued attacks on the greater majority of true caring VA workers, and they were obstructing at every move.

Never doing when they had control even in conservative executive administrations and especially with full control as they launched two more long wars and occupations!! The media helping them all the way!!
