Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Sen. Sanders vrs. Sen. Vitter - Veterans Clinics

Vitter said 43 Republicans have objections to the Sanders bill, believing that the extra services the legislation would provide should be offset with spending cuts.

Where were the 'offsets' when they were rubber stamping off the books with no bid private contracts, congress still doing insider information wall street trading legally, war costs with extremely little not only to enhance the long under funded VA budget but also the DoD medical care facilities with both wars, i.e. think the Walter Reed scandal!! And then have sought cuts in the VA budgets since as well as ouster of Gen Shinseki, the only VA Secretary, besides Cleland who was blocked at every move, in my lifetime in the Veterans community who's not only sought but is managing to build the Veteran Administration that should always have been with help from this present Executive Administration and it's full Cabinet whenever they can and with what they are allotted in their agency charges, with republican total obstruction at every move!!

Another intense floor flight between Sens. Vitter and Sanders over veterans' clinics

April 09, 2014 - Wednesday was battle No. 4 between Sen. David Vitter, R-La., and Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., over legislation to authorize 27 veterans' health clinics, including for Lafayette and Lake Charles.

Vitter Wednesday requested his 4th unanimous consent from senators to move the legislation. But Sanders, chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, objected for the fourth time, once again urging Vitter to find three Republican votes to end a GOP filibuster on his more comprehensive veterans' legislation, which includes the okay for the 27 Veterans Administration clinics. read more>>>

TX-19 Congressional Candidate Neal Marchbanks - Veteran: 28 March 2014 - "Congress controls the budget for the VA and it is the fault of Congress that the VA does not have enough employees and that the facilities are too small."

Congress, in Veteran Marchbanks statement, are the people served and who representatives work for, or are supposed to!

Meanwhile on that privatizing: N.C. senator {Burr-R really a (T)}: VA can learn from private facilities

They Never mention the private sector, with their huge amounts of corporate cash especially in the executive suites, in the hearings or public displays, that handles similar issues, like hospitals and clinics as they attack VA personal when issues arise.
