December 28, 2013 - A retired veteran was already up in arms over the budget deal U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wisc., negotiated with U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., which cut veterans’ retirement benefits, but when he received a fund raising email from Ryan a few days later, it put him over the edge.Chuck Wooten, Chief Master Sergeant, USAF (Ret.) let Ryan have it – in a scathing letter posted on his Facebook page.
“[Congressman Ryan] had the audacity to send me an email after he had just gotten done picking my pocket on the budget deal and had his hand out looking for a cash donation,” Wooten told Fox News’ Shannon Bream on Friday.
