It's been bad enough, even from previous decades and wars of since Korea, that with the two tax cuts that came with these two wars, abandoning the main missions so quickly after 9/11, not only have these wars not been paid for but the VA budget, like the rest of the agencies, is mostly on borrowed monies. The country served still ignores it's responsibility and refuses to Sacrifice as it demanded those who served, and their families, too!! DeJa-Vu all over again, as it also ignores many of the issues of those who served in, as those representatives of the right mostly, seeking to privatize for profit, attack and are followed by many of those served doing same as they wave those flags of the hollow support and they call patriotism!!

Since 2010, homelessness among veterans has fallen by 24 percent across the country, according to a point-in-time report that the Department of Housing and Urban Development released late last month. The assessment measures homelessness on a single night in January each year.
In HUD’s most recent assessment, 57,849 veterans were homeless nationwide. read more>>>
