Two problems with this, though desperately needed, the country has yet to sacrifice as to the long ignored and underfunded needs of the VA especially this past decade plus and two wars of, so this still goes on the countries credit card, added to the previous decades and wars from, DeJa-Vu all over again! Second, this could create a shortage of very qualified mental health professionals in the private sector, hopefully short term, especially as finally there's a better understanding, still behind the curve from ignoring for some forty years, as to PTS and the stresses of trauma, in civilians, think of all the trauma's and add in these devastating damaging storms of these years, as well as military veterans of combat theaters, places on ones mind and coping with while learning to live with that better understanding! Veterans with the skills and wants now going to college etc. on the new GI Bill should consider professions in these fields, they know better what their brothers and sisters experienced thus can help civilians as well.
