House Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman, Rep. Jeff Miller of the 112th Congress,to join Rep. Joe Walsh, who already has been doing a number of 'swiftboat' actions and speak pointed at his election opponent Iraq Veteran Tammy Duckworth, to join Walsh in attacking Iraq Vet Duckworth in more 'swiftboating'! Miller, one of the leaders of the congressional republican's, a very vocal supporter of Abandoning the Main Missions we sent our Military into Afghanistan after 9/11 for with the first drum beats pointed at Iraq! A ready rubber stamper of the costs of both wars of choice, no questions asked, no bid contracts for the private sector contractors used as well as in building a private mercenary army and off the books, till the present administration, and borrowed! A supporter of doing extremely little for the needs the Veterans Administration would face as to the Veterans of both these wars during the years of the occupations in both, continuing the decades long obstruction of same from those wars, as well as even the Military Care of the injured i.e. Walter Reed scandal remember that!
The cut below is from a post by another Iraq Veteran, Brandon Friedman, titled House Veterans Affairs Chair moves to swiftboat Iraq vet Tammy Duckworth, who is letting us know what Miller and Walsh are up to:

Rep. Joe Walsh and Veterans Affairs Chairman Jeff Miller to Host Joint Press Conference on Allegations Against Tammy DuckworthFirst, the lawsuit referenced above has already been dismissed twice—by a state court and in federal court—because it is without merit. With respect to Tammy's service at VA, describing it as a "poor record" is a lie. I was there. In fact, Tammy modernized VA’s Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs, to include creating its first Office of Online Communications—through which VA was able to reach over half a million veterans on Facebook and Twitter.MEDIA ADVISORY

Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, Congressman Jeff Miller (R-FL) will join Congressman Joe Walsh to discuss Ms. Duckworth's poor record in serving veterans at both the Illinois Dept. of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and the federal VA. Among the topics, they will discuss the recent developments in the ongoing lawsuit against Tammy Duckworth from her time as fmr. Governor Rod Blagojevich's Director of the Illinois DVA.
In a rational world, the chair would want a combat veteran on the Veterans Affairs Committee. He would want a leader who knew the Department of Veterans Affairs inside and out. Because that would help veterans. But that's not the world in which we live. read more>>>
Miller is one of the congressional leaders seeking the goal of privatizing the Veterans Administration, for profit like our wars, as they also seek to privatize the rest of the government including the military! Instead of doing his job as a Representative of the people and working with the Veterans Administration, while demanding those he represents along with the rest of the country Sacrifice as we demand our Military personal and Families of do, he attacks the VA representatives he calls for the hearings the Committee holds. The more blame he can lay on them, instead of himself the willing and happy rubber stamper of war costs, the quicker they can move the people's responsibility to it's Veterans, especially of our wars, into those private hands and corporate welfare from the government deep coffers, our Treasury!
Neither of these wars have been paid for! Miller and the rest started their rubber stamping for the previous administrations wants as soon as they took total control in Washington, wiping out the surplus from the previous to them and starting the rise in the deficits Before 9/11. More importantly they did little, as mentioned above, as to the needs of the Veterans Administration back then, and neither did that leadership of the Agency then, for the years prior to this Executive Administration. At least during the 110th and 111th Congresses, despite the obstructions in the House and Senate some of what wasn't done was taken care of by those Congresses.
And now Rep Miller, the leader of the House Veterans Committee joins one of his own to attack an Iraq Veteran who is running to protect and fight for her brothers and sisters needs that will last for the coming decades as they always do from our sending them into our chosen wars!
