The total obstruction that still calls itself 'republican', and for some reason so does everyone else, has to be expunged from the Government body, Federal and States, and if that still is a political party of this country they need find actual republicans that care about the Country and not puppets controlled by outsiders and the corporate world!
First we have Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) filibusters Veterans Job Corps Bill now we have Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) delaying a Vote in the Senate on this 'jobs' bill, more importantly on a 'jobs' bill designed to help these younger brothers and sisters!
The War Cost 'rubber stampers', surplus was gone and deficits rising Before 9/11, off the books till the present Administration, and still adding to the growth of the deficit, a decade plus now, doing nothing for the Veterans of are still blocking any sacrifice the Country should be demanding, through these reps, as Sessions offers this: "as it would increase the Veterans’ Affairs Department budget" in his excuse! Hey Sessions, wars have a tendency to do that, though the decades long under funded VA is that way because the country doesn't step up to it's responsibility, but especially rubber stamped costs wars of choice that last for years and one still ongoing!
09/13/12 - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) postponed a vote on the motion to proceed to the veterans jobs bill until next Wednesday. The vote was originally scheduled for 1 a.m. Friday.
“The least we can do for those who have fought for this country abroad is to ensure they never have to fight for a job when they come home,” Reid said on the floor Thursday. “This is the kind of proposal that should sail through the Senate with bipartisan support.”
snip Senate Budget Committee ranking member Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said he’d offer a budget point of order because the bill violates the Budget Control Act, as it would increase the Veterans’ Affairs Department budget.
“My sole problem with the legislation is it violates the budget, and as a member of the Budget Committee Sen. [Patty] Murray should know it is subject to a budget point of order,” Sessions said on the floor Thursday. “The Majority Leader doesn’t want to talk about real issues of great importance and so this bill is brought up to take up the whole week." read more>>>
