Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Tens of Thousands of Veterans' that have been long ignored and maligned by previous VA's and the whole Country and through their representatives!

Veterans Get Increased Access to World-Class Health Care

Note especially to brother and sister Veterans: And especially those who don't pay attention to what has been going on the past few years, citizens as well. All that's been happening related in the VA, still way underfunded, will cease and we'll be back to the bush style years especially if more tepubs reps are added to the mix, with or without a romney at the helm but especially with. The obstruction won't be there, won't be needed by them, but huge cutbacks will be, and I'll bet that much that's been done will be stripped away!!

VA to Expand Health Care Service by Opening 13 New Community-Based Outpatient Clinics
WASHINGTON – July 19, 2012 - As part of the continuing effort to provide world-class health care closer to where more Veterans live, the Secretary of Veterans Affairs today announced plans to open 13 new community-based outpatient clinics in nine states.

“Community-based clinics are key to providing Veterans better access to high-quality care closer to home,” said Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki. “By reducing the distance Veterans have to travel, we hope more Veterans will benefit from the health care services they have earned through their service to our Nation.”

With 152 medical centers and more than 812 community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs), the department operates the largest integrated health care system in the country. VA will provide health care to about 6.1 million patients in fiscal year 2012 and 80 million outpatient visits.

The Obama Administration is committed to increasing access to VA care and services for Veterans wherever they live.

The first of the new CBOCs will become operational during the latter part of 2012, with openings continuing through 2015. Local VA officials will keep their Veterans, communities, congressional offices and other stakeholders informed of the progress of the new CBOCs.
