While at same time not enhancing the VA budget as two wars and years long occupations were waged. Obstructing as the 110th and 111th congresses finally started doing the issues related to that the 108th and 109th congresses didn't worry about nor mention and when given the House control back to them, in the 112th, came in trying to cut from the still way underfunded VA budget. No Sacrifice by country demanded this whole decade plus added to the previous decades and veterans of those wars.
25 July 2012 - The Veterans Affairs Department faces cuts in its administrative budget early next year if the Budget Control Act goes into effect and imposes automatic cuts on the department’s budget, VA Secretary Eric Shinseki said Wednesday.Although veteran benefits will be exempt from the cuts, with a slashed administrative budget the VA will have a hard time paying its employees and running the systems that pump out the checks, Shinseki told a joint hearing of the Senate and House Veterans Affairs Committees.

While Miller and company continue the, now years long, No Demanding Sacrifice from those they are supposed to represent, especially the wealthy who they really do, to pay for the wars they cheered on, surplus was gone and rubber stamping had already started before 9/11 starting the deficits rapid rise, then came their wars of choice. Quickly abandoning the main mission of why our troops were even sent to that region with the first drum beat pointed at Iraq.
