And a certain political group especially, morphed from a long time actual political group, who did nothing as to military care, let alone veterans care and more, as they rubber stamped two more wars of choice and seek to add, not cut, defense spending but not for care and while obstructing the present Administrations actions on these and other issues, still wave their flags of patriotism, their definition! And the country still doesn't demand they sacrifice!
Apr 22, 2012 - Fed up with what they say is poor treatment in Fort Bragg's Warrior Transition Battalion, a group of about 20 wounded soldiers met two weeks ago to share their complaints.
A week later, Fort Bragg officials announced the findings of an inspection of that battalion. The inspection was sparked by earlier grievances.
The inspection found room for improvement, especially in the selection and training of the battalion's leadership and the management of wounded soldiers' expectations.
But it did little to address one of the soldiers' chief complaints: They say they are being accused of faking injury or illness and that the battalion's leadership is working to kick them out of the Army with little to show for their years of military service.
The soldiers had been waiting for the report on the inspection of the battalion since Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick ordered it Feb. 14.
Since then, more than 40 past and present soldiers assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion have complained to The Fayetteville Observer. read more>>>
