The DeJa-Vu of all our wars since Korea keeping the VA underfunded, as well as ignoring what veterans say, think Agent Orange, PTSD as just a few of Vietnam as well as Gulf War Syndrome as to the first Gulf War and much more. Thus not up to par with the technologies that were advancing in the private sector because of cost and more and unable to maintain the abilities needed especially when soldiers are then sent into two more wars zones and come home to veteran status. When trying to catch up with the needs it costs much more then if up to date and just maintained, much more. Congress is the peoples representatives and the people seem to not mind the under funding, haven't Sacrificed nor Demanded same, especially the wealthy who many are invested in these wars and get returns on those investments, for now a decade after the tax cuts added to the lack of Sacrifice in the previous decades.

But while attention to psychological disorders affecting our veterans is at an all-time high, action in the form of legislation has been painfully slow. Despite whatever good intentions may exist, Congress is failing in its obligation to provide for injured veterans in the timely fashion they deserve. read more>>>
The Country, and especially Congress, ignored us as we came back from Vietnam about PTSD, where it finally got the a name and the reality it existed and always has and not only combat PTS but in the civilian populations as well. Some forty years of ignoring and not until these two wars and finally more civilians grasping what was going on, joining us veterans and the small number of citizens who have fought for better understand over those some forty years.
Way past time the Country stands up and Really Supports those who serve them and Sacrifice as to the wars they send only a few into, and these two over and over and over for many!
