Ask yourself: If the Veterans Administration is so corrupt and mismanaged, as the conservative ideology, under which the seeds of are planted when they control, wants everyone to buy into as they obstruct the budgets and do extremely little after they charge same, then why does the Private sector, many problems within rarely heard about, adopt so many practices and advanced technologies developed within the VA, for free?! The VA, DoD, and in partnership with Universities and Colleges, not just Health Care are constantly in R&D and that developed that works is quickly moved into the private, for profit, sector, even as the VA is long under funded, decades, and especially during and after our wars that the few are sent into!

Camp Lejeune Veterans

The tepubs will, naturally, fight this as they do in related to any Veterans Issues, while waving flag and wearin them purple heart bandages along with them lapel flag pins, after all for over a decade now, added to the previous decades, No Demand From Them Nor Their Supporters For 'Sacrifice' as to their rubber stamped two wars of choice for as long as they've been and still are, House has already tried cutting from the VA budget, despite it being from Burr!!

Health care for Camp Lejeune veterans clears Senate hurdle

June 29, 2011 - Thousands of Marine veterans and family members across the country who once lived at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Marine base may be closer to getting health care for illnesses suffered because of decades of water contamination on the base.

A key Senate committee on Wednesday approved legislation to provide the health care — giving hope to advocates who have been lobbying on the issue for years.

But many hurdles remain: The bill still must go through the full Senate and a debt-weary House of Representatives. And though the Obama White House hasn't taken a position on the bill, the departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs both oppose it.

Beyond that, health care can't be provided until Congress appropriates money for it in a separate process.

Still, Wednesday's vote was the farthest leap yet for the bill, called the Caring for Camp Lejeune Veterans Act of 2011, and sponsored by Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, the senior Republican on the Veterans Affairs Committee. {read more}
