A Word to my Brother and Sister Veterans
Keep your eyes on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, after January, and watch just what happens for the next couple of years. We're back to same ole same ole, zip, zero, nada, and they're supporters will love it. You know them well, the magnetic ribbon supporters? while showing their disdain, but having a real good laugh and time, while sending our younger brothers and sisters into two more theaters, with their purple heart bandages pointed directly at us in-country Navy Vietnam Veterans and any soldier/sailor who've been wound in our wars!
If you need a refresher on just what has been going on visit and go back in the archives, to the 110th Congress and the Hearings and Investigations that Finally happened and didn't during the two previous especially as they rubber stamped two more wars of choice, and again Afghanistan stopped being about anything even closely related to 9/11 from the first drumbeat at Iraq! Then after having finally really accomplished some of what should already have been they continued and moved forward, even for us older vets, in the 111th Congress, that stops now, you'll see!!
