Project in Roseburg will house homeless vets
Mar 25, 2010 ROSEBURG, Ore. - A new housing project in Roseburg, for dozens of homeless veterans could be completed in two years if all goes as planned.
Officials at Umpqua Community Development Corporation in Roseburg said they have been selected by the Veterans' Administration to build a project that will house homeless vets.
The $8-million project will be built on the southwest corner of the Veterans' Administration property next to the Stewart Park Drive entrance to the grounds. The 52-unit complex would have 44 one-bedroom units and the rest would be two-bedroom. -->-->-->
Just one of many either ok's already or on the docket for approval on just the homeless issue!
